Family and friends gather to honor Jacob Sims on his birthday

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The family and friends of Jacob Sims are gathering Friday evening to celebrate his heavenly birthday.

The celebration is taking place at Kennedy State Park, located at 2251 S. Kennedy Lane, at 6:45 p.m. This is to celebrate what would have been Sims' 25th Birthday.

During the celebration, those who attend can send Sims a birthday message, as well as send a message to anyone they have lost.

In addition, those who attend are encouraged to bring their skateboard, bike, scooter and ride to honor Sims.

There will also be balloons provided as they will release them in the air, along with his favorite cupcakes from Goldsboro and water.
