Volunteers pack backpacks for Back to School Rodeo

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - If you're looking for free school supplies, look no further than the City of Yuma's "Back to School Rodeo."

Preparations are underway for the City of Yuma’s 12th Annual Back to School Rodeo.

The drive-thru event will take place at the Yuma Civic Center on Saturday, July 15, 2022, at 7 a.m.

The city, along with local businesses, are working together to give away backpacks for students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.

The Back to School Rodeo is a family-friendly event providing the necessary school supplies kids need while supplies last.

The first 2,000 children will receive a FREE synch-style backpack filled with school supplies!

Your child must be present to receive the backpack, and each child is eligible to get one backpack.
