A local nonprofit is taking over a popular eatery this Tuesday
The Freedom Library is hosting a takeover at Wheezy's Grill and Bar this Tuesday
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Whether you enjoy Wheezy's Restaurant and Sports Bar's energetic atmosphere or their one-of-a-kind dishes, now you can have them and help a good cause.
On Tuesday, February 15, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. the Freedom Library will host a takeover of the popular eatery. The restaurant will donate a portion of the evening's proceeds to the library's scholarship program.
The Freedom Library offers courses on the economy and the U.S. Constitution. Those students who take part in the courses are eligible to get a scholarship to further their education.
Wheezy's Restaurant and Sports Bar is located on 11732 Fortuna Road in the Foothills.
