(KYMA, KECY/ CBS) - In some of the day's top health stories it is learned that mental health visits for new mothers increased 30% during the pandemic. More patients have reported anxiety, depression and substance abuse.

Doctors now believe patients with active blood cancers have the greatest risk of dying from COVID-19.

The number of cases for Celiac Disease in children has doubled over the past 25 years. 1.6% of the global population may be affected by the autoimmune disease.
