Local Little Caesars owners hand out 1,200 pizzas for earthquake relief

Owners of Little Caesars restaurants in Yuma handed out 1,200 pizzas to the community of Ridgecrest as they continue to deal with earthquakes and aftershocks.

According to a family member, Johnny Baklini , Ryan Feghali , and Jeoff Feghali own all the Little Caesars establishments in Yuma as well as the location in Ridgecrest where Friday’s 7.1-magnitude earthquake struck.

Residents waited in long lines on Saturday to pick up their pizzas. Little Caesars is one of the few businesses that remained open as the community works to clean-up and brace for more earthquakes.

Local media reports some residents are without the basic essentials and are having a difficult time finding them.

More than 100 aftershocks have occurred since the earthquake hit Friday night.

A local hospital was evacuated, causing staff to create makeshift medical tents outside on the lawn.
