United Airlines launches new food delivery service

(NBC, KYMA) - United Airlines is looking to make things easier the next time travelers are at the airport.

The company said they have launched a new food delivery service designed to save time at the airport.

Customers can order food, drinks and other travel essentials through the United app and pick it up from a designated area at the gate.

United is testing the service at Newark Liberty International Airport and will expand the pilot program to Houston later this year.
