Powerball jackpot climbs to more than $900 million

(CNN, KYMA) - The Powerball jackpot is closing in on a billion dollars after no one won Saturday night's grand prize.

The jackpot has climbed to an estimated $905 million for Monday's drawing.

Saturday's winning numbers were five, nine, 35, 54, 63 and red Powerball seven. No ticket matched all six numbers to win the $856 million grand prize, but a ticket sold in Texas won $2 million while four tickets sold in Arizona, Florida, Michigan and New York each won $1 million.

No one has won the jackpot in more than three months. The last grand prize was won May 2, when players in Florida and Texas split $20 million.

Powerball is played in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets also became available in the United Kingdom for the first time last month.

The next drawing is Monday night.
