Hyundai recalls over 96,000 for instrument panel display failure

(CBS, KYMA) - Hyundai is recalling 96,310 vehicles due to a software error in a display panel that fails to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard.

According to the recall announcement issued by Hyundai, "an instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, increases the risk of a crash."

The recall includes 2025-2026 Tucson, Tucson Hybrid, Tucson Plug-In Hybrid Electric (PHEV) vehicles.

Vehicle owners should contact their dealership for a software update.
