Apple raises prices on some of its popular products

(NBC, KYMA) - Apple announced they are raising the prices on some of its popular products.

Consumers can expect to pay more for the MacBook Neo, MacBook Air, iMac, iPad and the Apple TV Streaming Box, with some items increasing by as much as $200.

The company says the increases are because of skyrocketing memory prices caused by the AI boom.

Prices of the iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods have not yet been impacted, and Apple says it's "working tirelessly to find solutions."

The price hike has caused apple stock to drop more than 6% Thursday, making it the company's worst one-day performance in more than a year.
