Study finds heavy metal in spices

A new report shows damaging chemicals in kitchen spices

(KYMA, KECY/ CBS) - In this CBS consumer segment, we learn that a new study has found that some spices found in our kitchen had concerning levels of heavy metals.

Some of those heavy metals include lead, cadmium or arsenic.

It is recommended to choose products with low levels of metal to ensure you and your family stay safe.
