Pentagon releases ‘never-before-seen’ files related to UFOs

(NBC, KYMA) - The Pentagon is releasing "never-before-seen" files tied to unidentified anomalous phenomena, previously and more infamously known as UFOs.

The collection includes more than 160 files, detailing more than 400 incidents from all around the world.

The files show no indication that the government has had any interaction with beings from other planets, or that it has any reason to believe such beings have visited earth.

Some of the most recent eyewitness statements were taken last year while other cases date back to the 1940s.

The first batch of the long-awaited files are being housed on a dedicated government site, and the Pentagon says, "Additional files will be added to the site on a rolling basis."
