Turning Point USA unveils Charlie Kirk statue one year after his murder

PHOENIX (NBC, KYMA) - Turning Point USA (TPUSA) unveiled a statue at its Phoenix headquarters Thursday, marking one year since the murder of Charlie Kirk.

The 31-year-old was shot and killed on September 10, 2025 while speaking to college students at Utah Valley University.

Kirk co-founded TPUSA in 20-12. The organization promotes conservative political positions on school campuses.

Earlier this month, a Utah judge ruled that the trial for Tyler Robinson, the 23-year-old man charged in Kirk's killing, can go forward.
