Arizona Farm Bureau endorses Andy Biggs and Sine Kerr

PHOENIX (KYMA) - The AgPAC of the Arizona Farm Bureau Federation (AZFB) announced a major endorsement in the Arizona governor's race.

AZFB has endorsed Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) for Governor and former State Sen. Sine Kerr (R-District 25) as Lt. Governor.

"Arizona agriculture needs strong, experienced leadership that understands the critical importance of water security, private property rights, and the economic contributions of our farmers and ranchers," said Sherry Saylor, Chair of AgPAC and formerly in farming with her husband, Rick, in the Buckeye area. "Andy Biggs and Sine Kerr bring proven records of supporting production agriculture and rural Arizona. We are proud to endorse the Biggs-Kerr team."

Rep. Biggs, according to AZFB, has "advocated for policies that reduce regulatory burdens and protect Arizona's agricultural interests," while former State Sen. Kerr is not only a longtime dairy farmer, but also has been a lifelong member of the bureau "serving in a variety of leadership positions."

"Farmers and ranchers are the backbone of Arizona's economy and food security," Saylor continued. "With Andy Biggs and Sine Kerr in office, we will have partners who prioritize access to water, defend property rights, and stand with the men and women who work the land every day. Their leadership will help ensure a prosperous future for Arizona agriculture."
