Senate to vote on War Powers Resolution

(CNN, KYMA) - The Senate will take a procedural vote Wednesday regarding President Donald Trump's decision to start a war with Iran.
This legislation is known as a War Powers Resolution, and it gives lawmakers the chance to make congressional approval mandatory before additional attacks can be carried out.
Members of the House are also going to discuss the matter ahead of a similar vote later this week.
Six members of the U.S. military were killed in drone strike in Kuwait over the weekend, and President Trump has also not ruled out the possibility of sending U.S. ground troops.
