President Trump is marking the day by touting the United States is the "hottest" and "most respected country anywhere in the world."

Trump posted to social media Sunday morning writing, "Time flies," and that his second term is "being hailed as one of the most consequential periods of any president," ending the post with, "Happy anniversary!!!"

The president is spending part of the day golfing at his national club in Sterling, Virginia.
