One person died in crash on snowy Utah highway

WASATCH COUNTY, Utah (NBC) - One person has died following a crash in Utah on Tuesday.

The crash happened around 11:00am in Wasatch County on Highway 40.

Officials say a woman lost control of her car, went into the opposite lane of traffic and slammed head on into a large SUV.

The crash killed the woman instantly, but several children in the SUV suffered minor injuries.

Overall, authorities did not disclose the cause of the crash.

Additionally, the Utah Department of Transportation cameras in the area showed low visibility.
