Victims of the Dateland plane crash have been identified

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A few days after the September 16 plane crash in Dateland last week, the crash victims have been identified.

According to a press release, the occupants, Ronald and Marcela Barba, were a married couple from Tijuana, Mexico. Ronald was 61 and Marcela was 47 at the time of the crash.

In addition, the Barbas traveled, via aircraft, from San Diego to Nogales. Next of kin will be notified.

However, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is still investigating the cause of the crash.

We will keep you updated when we know the cause of the crash.
