YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - New Voter Identification Cards will be mailed to all active Yuma County voters starting Friday, June 23.

According to Yuma County, the new ID cards will reflect any changes that were required by the redistricting that was completed as a result of the 2020 census.

Redistricting is the process of redrawing district boundaries every 10 years based on the latest census results, said Yuma County.

The purpose of redistricting is to ensure fair representation by adjusting districts to account for population shifts, meaning voters may be placed in different Congressional, Legislative, or Local districts.
