Noise complaints talks ongoing in Brawley
BRAWLEY, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Several Brawley residents and the owner of a restaurant are now in talks after locals complained the restaurant was too loud at night.
The city council said the owner of "Spot 805" went through the legal process and even wrote a letter informing residents about the restaurant and what it would bring to the area.
But those who live close by say the noise has been ongoing now for several months.
At the end of the meeting, both parties came to an agreement to fix this problem.
“People need to come together and discuss as we are all residents, we are all impacted we all want to succeed… And so I was happy with the outcome and that actions are going to happen moving forward," said Gil Rebollar, Brawley City Council Member.
The city council said the Brawley Chamber of Commerce is now involved and will be a part of the conversation.
