FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Temps likely to rise within the 100’s as strong winds arrive

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Near to above normal temperatures are expected for this weekend as a ridging pattern starts to build over the region.

Temperatures will peak on Saturday and Sunday, with the hottest temperatures so far this year expected for many locations.

Dry conditions will persist for the next several days, with a slight cooldown anticipated to start next week.
