El Centro man dies in rollover crash
EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - El Centro police say a man lost his life in a rollover crash.
The crash happened last Wednesday on South La Brucherie Road and Wake Avenue.
Police said when they arrived, the vehicle was on the side of the road.
The El Centro Police Department (ECPD) said it appeared the driver lost control after trying to avoid traffic by quickly switching to the opposite lane.
That's when another car came towards him.
“The vehicle was trying to pass slower-moving traffic ahead of it, the driver lost control of the vehicle and the vehicle ended up being on the dirt shoulder of the roadway,” stated ECPD Officer William Yu.
