Shooting occurred near a PA hospital, police investigate

MONTOUR COUNTY, Penn. (NBC) - One person died in a shooting at Pennsylvania hospital Friday night.

Officials at Geisinger Medical Center - Danville confirmed the deceased is an employee of the hospital.

They found the employee dead in the facility's employee parking lot following a shooting incident.

Officials also did not report any other injuries at this time.

Police have not located a suspect at this time, but say this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.

However, an investigation is ongoing.
