Christmas eve attempted murder

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - In the early hours of Christmas Eve, the Yuma Police Department (YPD) responded to a shooting in a neighborhood off of First Avenue and 22nd St.

YPD says around 4:30 am, a 50-year-old man was shot.

Once officers arrived, they located the man suffering from life-threatening injuries.

As of now, we do not know the condition of the victim.

We spoke to several neighbors who say they slept through the shooting.

The police department has not found any suspects as of now.

Should the information lead to an arrest, you may receive a $1,000 cash reward.
