New Orleanians get into the Christmas spirit with Running of the Santas

NEW ORLEANS, Louis. (NBC) - A gaggle of Santas got loose in New Orleans Saturday in the 2022 Running of the Santas.

For further context, Running of the Santas is a returning event in the warehouse district.

It is also an event where participants dress up like old Saint Nick and go through a pub crawl.

In addition, the event has a holiday themed party, music, and costume contest too.

All the Kris Kringles laced up their boots for a good cause as well; portions of the proceeds will benefit the "That Others May Live" Foundation.

The proceeds will then provide support to the U.S. Air Force Rescue community and their families.
