Brawley boys soccer continues impressive start, defeats Yuma Catholic on the road

The Wildcats used two first half goals to push their way past the Shamrocks as they get to 7-2 on the year - 13 On Your Side's Luis Lopez reports

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Brawley boys soccer defeated Yuma Catholic 3-0 at Ricky Gwynn Stadium on Monday night to get to a record of 7-2 on the season.

The Wildcats jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first half.

Then, in the second, a cross from Nathan Urbano to Victor Ramirez in the box found the back of the net to put Brawley up 3-0.

Head coach Frank Felix's squad will next take the pitch when they play Imperial on Saturday Dec 10 as part of a neutral site tournament.

Yuma Catholic's next opponent will also be Imperial, who they'll play at home on Thursday Dec 8.
