Fatal plane crash occurred in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (NBC) - At least three people died after a small plane crashed in northwest Oklahoma City on Monday.

Firefighters responded to the crash scene near the Cimarron Municipal Airport shortly after 9:00pm.

They arrived to find the plane on fire with surrounding grass on fire as well.

The fire crew also found three people dead at the scene.

Firefighters are using drones with infrared technology to search surrounding areas for additional victims.

The incident is under investigation.
