PHOENIX, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A Phoenix grand jury has handed down an indictment against a woman accused of killing her own children.

Prosecutors had already charged 22-year-old Rachel Henry with three counts of first-degree murder. Monday's indictment mirrors those original charges.

Police say Henry admitted to smothering her 2-year-old and 7-month old daughters, and her 3-year-old son.

A judge will formally charge her with the killings on February 4.

Prosecutors say Henry has admitted to having a history of methamphetamine addiction. They say child welfare officials in Oklahoma removed her children from her home because of her drug problems.

Henry's family moved to Phoenix in June. The Arizona Department of Child Safety says it had no previous contact with the family, nor did it receive any reports of abuse involving either parent.
