FTX founder claims innocence

New York- The founder of the now-bankrupt crypto company FTX says he didn't intend to commit fraud.

30-year-old Sam Bankman-Fried appeared virtually Wednesday at the New York Times' dealbook summit.

His company imploded earlier this month.

Bankman-Fried resigned as CEO after FTX and its affiliated companies filed for bankruptcy

Now there are questions about whether he misappropriated customer funds when it lent to his hedge Fund, alameda.

On Wednesday, Bankman-fried said he made a lot of mistakes… but didn't knowingly co-mingle funds.

Federal prosecutors are reportedly investigating the collapse of FTX.
