(KYMA, KECY/ NBC News) - The January 6th Select Committee says it has completed its review of Secret Service documents.

The Secret Service handed over more than a million documents to the committee and those documents did not include texts, but rather emails and other electronically sent messages.

The committee is now preparing to call witnesses connected to the agency for depositions.

Two Secret Service agents, Tony Ornato, who took leave from the agency to service as former President Donald Trump's Deputy Chief of Staff, and Robert Engel, who served as the head of Trump's security detail on January 6th are both expected to appear before the committee soon.

Ornato's attorneys released a statement saying thier client "continues to cooperate in the January 6 Select Committee's investigation".
