Breezy Thursday with a slow warming trend

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - It's been a breezy Thursday across the Desert Southwest with strong winds coming from the North with peaking gusts of 15 to 30 mph.

Winds will lighten up tonight, but will still be noticeable through tomorrow morning.

Temperatures still trend below normal and going into later tonight and early tomorrow morning low temperatures will be pretty chilly.

As a ridge of high pressure starts to build over the region it will increase our temperatures back to normal.

By the weekend not only will temperatures be a little warmer we will increase in more clouds.

Toward the end of next week, a cooler and wetter weather pattern will arrive in our forecast.
