YPD arrests suspect in Friday’s attempted homicide

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Over 24 hours since the Yuma Police Department (YPD) responded to a 911 call on Friday, October 21, 2022, they have found the suspect.

More specifically, the YPD arrested and booked a 35-year-old man.

The arrest occurred on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at approximately 8:40am.

Moreover, the arrest was in response to Friday's attempted murder that occurred in the 3400 block of South 4th Avenue.

So far, the suspect remains in the Yuma County Detention Center for multiple felony charges.

This includes Friday's attempted first degree murder.
