Attempted homicide occurred early Friday morning

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Police Department (YPD) responded to the 3400 block of South 4th Avenue regarding reports of shots fired.

Accordingly, through a press release, the incident occurred on Friday, October 21, 2022 at approximately 3:22am.

Concurrently, the investigation revealed that the shot came from an occupied residence and there were no injuries to report.

In addition, the suspect fled the scene before the police arrived on scene.

However, the case remains open and the suspect is still at large.

At this time, the YPD encourages anyone with any information about this case to call YPD at (928) 783-4421.

If your information leads to an arrest, then you may receive up to a $1,000 cash reward.
