Shooting at a Tampa bar occurred earlier Sunday morning

TAMPA, Flor. (NBC) - One person died and six others injured after a fight broke out at a Tampa bar early Sunday morning.

Police said the shooting happened at around 3:00a at the Lit Cigar & Martini Lounge.

Reportedly, an altercation happened between two large groups of people. Bouncers escorted them outside the venue.

Witnesses told officers at least one suspect left the bar, got a gun, and shot the seven victims, resulting in one death.

The other victims, four men and two women, went to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police officials said it's unclear is multiple gunmen, but believe there could be another suspect involved.

So far, the police made no arrests.
