Slight cooling trend as more moisture moves in

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Temperatures continue to trend 5 to 10 degrees above normal through Tuesday, where highs are expected to reach 105-110.

An Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect for portions of Imperial Counties until 11 p.m. tonight.

The return of moisture enters our region by tomorrow, which means very humid conditions for the Desert Southwest for the next few days.

More chances for showers and thunderstorms is possible for lower Deserts starting tomorrow morning with greater chances during the afternoon and evening hours.

A slight cooling trend will begin tomorrow with even cooler and more seasonable temperatures by the weekend.
