Today marks Hispanic heritage month
Today marks the start of national Hispanic heritage month.
It’s observed each year starting September 15-th -- and runs through October 15-th --
National Hispanic heritage month celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the caribbean, and central and south America.
It started in 19-68 as Hispanic heritage week -- and expanded to 30 days and became law in 19-88.
