Imperial County needing election workers for the general election on November 8

The Imperial County Registrar of Voters needing election workers for the Nov. 8 General Election

(KYMA, KECY) - The Imperial County Registrar of Voters are needing election, poll workers and inspectors to help with the General Election on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

Poll workers will receive $100.00 per day and Inspectors will receive $110.00 for compensation.

The Imperial County Executive Office said poll workers will need to attend a two to three hour scheduled training class where a $15 stipend will be provided for those attending the class.

These training classes begin on October 3, 2022.

Here is a list of qualifications in order to work as an election worker:

  • Must be a registered voter in California
  • A legal permanent resident of the U.S.
  • A high school student age 16 or older with a 2.5 GPA, must have teacher and parent permission
