Monsoonal moisture is staying put

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - We have plenty of moisture within our region, which will bring chances for rain showers and thunderstorms.

Temperatures will be cooler than normal, but it won't feel any cooler as we will continue to feel humid conditions.

A Flood Watch has been extended for La Paz county until 5 a.m. Friday for locals to prepare for the potential of experiencing heavy rainfall that could lead to localized flooding.

There are greater chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms over the next several days.

Even though some areas may not experience any rainfall we still have the possibility for storms to develop.

Afternoon highs will continue to run below-normal for the rest of the week and into next week.
