VIDEO: Woman wakes up from 2 year coma

(NBC) - Two years after being attacked, a West Virginia woman wakes up from her coma where she was able to tell police her brother attacked her, the brother has now been charged.

After being in a coma for two-years, the victim of a brutal beating is now awake.

Wanda Palmer is now filling in pieces for police in Jackson County, West Virginia.

Police say Wanda Palmer - now 51-years old - was attacked in her home and left for dead.

Palmer's own brother now stands charges with attempted murder and malicious wounding connected to the June 2020 attack.

Daniel Palmer the third has been arraigned and bond has been set at 500-thousand dollars.
