Firefighter burned while extinguishing Seeley fire

EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - One Imperial County Firefighter was hurt during a fire that burned over 300 acres near Seeley.

The multiple alarm brush fire had Seeley residents evacuated, when one firefighter received 2nd and 3rd degree burns, according to El Centro Firefighters Association.

He was then transported to the El Centro Regional Medical Center.
