Temperatures expected to warm up for the weekend

YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)- Temperatures in Yuma County are expected to warm up slightly for this weekend.

A weak weather system will bring increased cloudiness Thursday with chances of showers mainly east of Phoenix this afternoon and evening.

Drier conditions settle back in for Friday into the weekend, but periods of cloudiness are likely Sunday into early next week.

Warmer temperatures will also be seen this weekend into early next week with highs climbing to above 70 degrees across the lower deserts beginning Sunday.
