El Centro City Council unanimously approves the new city ordinance concerning illegal fireworks
EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The El Centro City Council approves the new fireworks city ordinance, which enforces prevention of illegal and dangerous fireworks.
On June 7, the El Centro City Council approves the new ordinance that will deter the use of illegal and dangerous fireworks.
For Fourth of July, the El Centro Fire and Police Departments will have additional personnel during the holiday and enforce the new ordinance.
El Centro Fire and Police Departments advises the community to only purchase safe fireworks to enjoy the holiday.
Illegal fireworks are extremely dangerous and can cause danger to anyone nearby and are classified as explosives.
