WWII-era plane crashes in Connecticut

Five patients were taken to Hartford Hospital following the crash at Bradley International Airport, according to Hartford HealthCare spokesman Shawn Mawhiney .

Mawhiney said they were expecting six patients and doesn’t know why they received five.

He did not have the patients’ conditions available, but said one person arrived via Life Star (critical care helicopter service) and the rest arrived via ground transportation.

Bradley International Airport is located in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, about a 15-mile drive north of Hartford, the state’s capital.
