Starting the month of June with hotter temperatures

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Happy June 1st! We are starting the month with hotter than normal temperatures. Our conditions will continue to remain seasonably dry, light winds, and lots of sunshine.

A ridge of high pressure is building over the Desert Southwest, so we can expect hotter temperatures for the rest of the week.

As we inch closer to the summer season we will continue to experience plenty of hot days, so make sure to take precautions as temperatures continue to heat up.
