Sen. Sinema cosponsors resolution to honor those lost to COVID-19

WASHINGTON (KYMA, KECY) - Senator Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) cosponsored a resolution to honor the Americans who lost their lives due to COVID-19.

“As our nation reaches this tragic milestone, we remember the lives and legacies of those we’ve lost to COVID-19. We offer our condolences to the families of the deceased, and recommit ourselves to combatting this deadly virus and preventing future pandemics,” expressed Sen. Sinema.

The United States reached 1,000,000 confirmed COVID-19 deaths on May 12.
