News 11 Weather Authority: Mild transition

April 27th, 2022

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - An emerging trough of low pressure is beginning a mild temperature change in our area.

Our daytime highs are in the process of changing from the high to low 90s.

The latter should remain through the rest of the workweek.

In the meantime, the approaching disturbance will trigger a wind advisory on Thursday for Western Imperial County, stretching from Ocotillo to the Imperial Valley.

Maximum wind gusts could range from 30 to 45 miles per hour on Thursday afternoon and evening.
