A wind advisory remains in effect until 5:00 a.m. for Western Imperial County

YUMA, Ariz. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) -  Windy and cooler weather arrive as we finish out this work week. A cold front will sweep through the area Friday morning. While rain chances are near zero with this system, it will kick up strong winds as it passes. On Friday, wind gusts from 30 to 40 miles per hour will be common. Locally higher gusts are also expected.
