First Alert Forecast: Breezy before Gusty

Another Wind Advisory will blow into portions of the Desert Southwest at 5:00 p.m. Thursday

YUMA, Ariz. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - A Wind Advisory is set to go into effect on Thursday evening at 5:00 p.m. for Western Imperial County and stay in effect until 5:00 a.m. Friday morning. Gusty winds ranging from 30 to 50 mph are expected to throw sand and dust throughout the area. Temperatures will also turn much cooler Friday with highs on the lower deserts in the mid 70s to near 80. The system will have very limited moisture and light rain chances will be limited to southeast California and northern Arizona.
