News 11 Weather Authority: Mild Easter weekend start

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - On this Good Friday, we're still keeping our overall temperature spectrum close to normal for this time of year.

Daytime highs have risen in the realm of 86 to 88 degrees, which is either average or slightly above average for this time in April.

As we roll into the Easter holiday weekend, the mercury climb will continue.

By Easter Sunday, our temperatures should top off in low 90s before briefly going up further earlier next week.
