Temperatures are on the rise as we head into our Easter weekend

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Temperatures are warming up as we will be slightly above normal today with our afternoon highs in the upper 80s and low 90s our average is 86 degrees. We will see some high clouds today, but our conditions staying dry.

Winds will stay light through the afternoon however, come the evening winds will strengthen especially for Imperial valley with gusts of 20 to 25 MPH. Tomorrow we will be breezy, but it won't be gusty like we felt earlier this week.

Here's a look at our Easter weekend forecast we will see some clouds and be breezy tomorrow with temperatures staying warm. By Easter Sunday we will see pure sunshine with calm conditions and warmer temperatures.

A ridge of high pressure will continue to strengthen through the weekend and we can expect an even warmer start to our week with temperatures 10 degrees above normal.
