Public Alert: Man wanted in Phoenix for allegedly shooting an officer

PHOENIX (KYMA, KECY) - According to an alert from Phoenix police, a man is currently wanted after being accused of shooting at an officer.

On Thursday morning, 35-year-old Nicholas Cowan allegedly shot an officer and is currently on the run.

He's described as six foot tall man with hazel eyes and brown hair, last seen wearing a black hat, a white T-shirt and black shorts.

Cowan also has tattoos on his neck and both arms.

If seen, police advise to call 911 as he's deemed armed and dangerous.
